Years Training: November 4th, 2006 was my first competition and I started training for it 2 months prior. Why I become interested in figure competitions: I really didn't know much about it until my friend Nancy competed. I was so interested in everything she was telling me about it and the timing was right because I was seeking a new challenge. I started out just wanting to see what changes I could make personally in my physique and not caring much about the competition. However, by the end my competitive spirit overwhelmed me and I was practicing my posing everyday wanting to do my best. I never thought I would love it as much as I did and I'm now hooked! I loved the challenge of it all! When did I first start working out: I started lifting in high school because my softball and basketball teams were extremely competitive. I've always been an athlete but started to lift less out of college and focus more on my cardio. It's made such a big change bringing the lifting back into my workouts... plus I get to pick on Ernie in the morning now!
